RE20CB Grinder with Blower — 20″×20″ Granulator, 15 + 3 HP
A 15 HP blower-fitted granulator that crushes PET bottles, grinds PET packing strap and takes jars up to 20 litres at 175 kg/hr — output conveyed continuously into bags by a 3 HP cyclone blower.
Bottles and Straps on One Machine
PET strap is its own recycling niche: strap manufacturers generate coils of edge-trim and reject strap, and strap is made from recycled bottle flake — so the businesses that handle one usually handle both. Strap is also miserable to grind on small machines: coils tangle, and the long profile wants a wide throat and steady airflow.
The RE20CB is configured for that mixed duty: a 20″ × 20″ throat that takes strap coils and jars up to 20 litres, a 15 HP motor, and a 3 HP cyclone blower conveying output continuously into bags. Bottles crush, straps grind, and everything leaves the chamber pneumatically — no manual clearing.
At 175 kg/hr on light PET it roughly doubles the RE16CB’s output — the step for operations aggregating beyond a tonne of PET a day. One specification stated faithfully: this configuration produces an uneven shred size — exactly what float-sink washing lines accept; buyers needing strictly screen-sized flake should run the base RE20 instead.

This CB configuration produces an uneven shred size — reproduced faithfully from the machine’s specification. Throughput is rated for light-weight material on a 15 mm screen; denser scrap grinds at the base-machine rates and output varies with feeding speed and bulk density. Keep metal objects out of the cutting area — they will break the blades. All specifications are subject to change for constant product development.

RE20CB Grinder with Blower — Frequently Asked Questions
Can it really grind strap without tangling?
Yes — that is what distinguishes this configuration. The wide throat, the cutting geometry and the blower’s continuous evacuation keep strap moving through instead of wrapping. Feed coils loosely rather than compressed bales and the machine stays smooth.
What is the difference from the RE16CB?
Size and duty: this machine takes jars to 20 litres and strap coils the RE16CB cannot, at roughly double the throughput (175 vs 90 kg/hr). Bottles-only under a tonne a day? The RE16CB saves you money; beyond that, or with strap in the mix, this is the machine.
Is the output washing-line compatible?
Yes — the uneven shred this configuration produces is exactly what float-sink washing lines accept. If your buyer requires strictly screen-sized flake instead, the base RE20 grinder without blower produces it.
What does a shift produce?
Roughly 1.4 tonnes per steady 8-hour shift on light PET. Two shifts approach 3 tonnes — collection-hub scale on a single machine.
What is the price of the RE20CB?
Upper-middle band of the blower range — see the plastic shredder machine price guide — depending on screen and ducting configuration. Send your intake profile for a firm quotation.
Can I trial bottles and strap together?
Yes — bring your actual material to our works in Andheri East, Mumbai, and watch it processed on this machine before you decide. A trial settles throughput and output-size questions better than any brochure.
